Wheeze... gasp!
Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 6:30AM I’m hyperventilating… I keep looking over at my empty sewing cabinet where my Bernina 830 should be, and it’s not! I love all of my machines, but the 830 is the one I must have… its the machine that no matter what I want to create, I know it can do it! No limitations! I am having serious withdrawal symptoms, ack!
Pathetic huh? But Jim’s away and I tend to get all wrapped up in my little creative world when I’m alone! I was doing just fine on my darling little 630 until this morning, when I finished (I think!) piecing my little lonestar.
Do I want to do some appliqué in the setting corners? Embroidery? Leave it alone and let the quilting shine?
Or maybe I should add more borders! I love borders. To me they make a quilt. Right now, my wall hanging measures 32.5 inches square, which is about perfect for the wall, so maybe I’ll stop there, and decide if I want to embellish it.
Oh before I forget, Sandy asked what method I use for the diamonds. I cheat! My friend Dee taught me the “flip, fuse and sew” method of doing these lonestars. Quiltsmart make the fusible interfacing. Very easy!
And if anyone is interested, I uploaded my EQ7 project file for this, you can fiind it at the bottom of my free EQ projects page.
