What's wrong with this picture?

It’s no wonder I get confused when I get around to assembling my quilt blocks.  I need a design wall… in fact I need two of them!  This floor stuff just isn’t cutting it!

My cutting table is full too, with fabrics from both of these projects. Then there’s that fabric sitting on top of my embroidery thread drawers… still not put away, not like me at all!  I can blame it on hubby right?  Since he’s away and my normal routine is out of whack?  

Not likely… I don’t have a routine and there’s rarely any rhyme or reason to anything I do!

You’ve seen the pinwheel project, the new quilt is “Lacey Lou” from Judy L’s new book.  I love the pattern, but I’m afraid my reds make the overall look brighter than I can handle.  So now I’m trying to decide if I would still enjoy this sized down to a wallhanging in one of my sewing rooms… or if I should revise it a bit an make it a baby quilt?
