Please recommend a tool...
Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 8:13AM I want to make fabric covered buttons. I’ve looked at the i-Top 2.0, and one of those terribly expensive gadgets from the American Button Machine company… which is more than I wish to spend. Doing a little research, it doesn’t seem as if the i-Top does a very good job with fabric buttons? I don’t want any folds around the edges, that is totally unacceptable…
So, does anyone have a tool they can recommend? I’d like to be able to cover buttons ranging from as small as a half inch on up to possibly 2 inches, or a bit smaller.
It has to make perfectly smooth fabric buttons! :)
I’m off to spend a day sewing with the girls. It’s one of those rare occasions that I’m hauling the Bernina 630 out, because I want to finish grid hatching the side panels for the cover I’m making for it, and I discovered it would fit into my serger case, which will in turn fit in the front seat of my Miata!
My featherweight is shipping Monday! Yay!
