Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families, or if you are spending it alone, enjoy the peace and solitude!

It will just be Jim and I here this year, and while we regret not being with our families, we are looking forward to relaxing together, not something we get to do very often.  I’m going to make a very simple meal.  I have a small 10lb turkey to roast, I’ll make dressing with sausage, pecans and apples, mashed potatoes with garlic and cream cheese, cranberry chutney and a pumpkin pie.  Nothing elaborate, just the things we both enjoy pigging out on!

What will you be cooking, or are you going out or to a family members home?  Any special plans for the long weekend?
