Design wall Monday

I had hoped to finish this top yesterday, but there was no time to work on it at all, so I still have one final white border to go on it… although I still want to play with it in EQ and see how it would look with a larger outer white border with appliqué on it.

Same as the last one, different colors.  I’m having fun with this quilt!  I have a selection of blue fabrics laid out on my floor ready to cut for yet another one of these.

I still haven’t got my last elephant block done, so no designing of that quilt has begun yet.

Jim whacked a rabbit yesterday, so grilled rabbit was on last night’s menu, pretty tasty!  I bottled five quarts of blackberry juice as well, when it’s cooler out I’ll make jelly or wine out of it.

 I don’t know if I’ll get any sewing done today or not… after I spend half the day watering in this heat, I may be too tired!
