Goodbye Dr. Love!
Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 8:13AM Well it was a great idea anyway. My Brookstone foot and calf massager (Dr. Love) arrived late yesterday afternoon… imagine my excitment! I was sooooo ready for a nice long massage! Alas even on the lowest massage setting it was painful to my calves… and not nearly intense enough for my feet. This morning I thought I’d try it again, and the minute it clamped down on my bruised calves I about bawled!
So it’s going back. I have to say though, Brookstone customer service is outstanding. I expected to pay return shipping, but they issued me a prepaid UPS label! Since it weighs about 50lbs, I knew shipping was going to be a chunk, so I’m extremely pleased about that!
I might order the plain foot massager, and see if it works any better for me.
I was very tired yesterday, and after my doctor’s appointment in the morning, I spent the rest of the day working on Jim’s scarf. That’s not a very good picture I’m afraid, I took it very early this morning when it was still dark outside.
Tomorrow I have to go in for a pelvic ultrasound, and I’m supposed to drink 6-8 glasses of water one to two hours before hand! If anyone has any tips at all on how you manage to hang onto the old bladder for an hour or two with that much water in it, I’d be much obliged if you share them! I’m thinking at best, I’ll take the water in the car with me and chug it on the way… and just maybe, I’ll be able to make it!
