Entries in bathrobe (1)

5:28PM

Woohoo it's finished!

And not only did I finish Jim’s bathrobe, I had my patterns mixed up, this one didn’t need lengthening!

Isn’t this fleece just the coolest?  I found it a couple of months ago when I was up in Conway at Hancock Fabrics.  It’s a marbled fleece… I have never seen marbled fleece before!

I took the last of the bolt when I bought this, and had there been enough, I would have got enough to make myself a matching robe, this is so my color!  I’m actually a little jealous!

The only thing left to do is hem the sleeves,  but I will wait until Jim opens it at Christmas to do so, as I’d rather get them perfect once and not have to redo them.

I’m just trying to decide if I want to monogram it or not.  I always embroider mine, tone on tone, but then I’m not a guy either!

I learned this morning that we’re losing another quilt shop, over in Conway.  Circle C Quiltworks in Pickles Gap Village is closing at the end of the month, sadly.  She hasn’t been there very long, but that seems to be the fate of every single quilt shop that opens here.
