A quilter with a voice
Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 7:38AM No, not me… and this isn’t about my beliefs either, but one of my blog readers was sharing her experience at a quilt show she recently attended, where this quilt was displayed. The artist is Grayson Perry, and the quilt is called “Right to Life”.
I just posted a link and not the picture, as it’s copyrighted. But you’ve got to see it!
Last night I had dinner with two other Arkansas quilt bloggers, Vivian and Karen. It was so cool to finally meet them in person! If we did that more often, either they would get fat like me, or I’d feel guilty and I’d get skinny again! We went out for pizza, and when Karen suggested we share a large pizza, I had visions of starvation and quickly ordered my own pizza! Hahaha
Speaking of food, I picked my first bowl of strawberries out of the garden this morning. Yum! That will help my waistline I’m sure. NOT!
Today is the final class for the lone star. Then I’m on to fabric hunting so I can finish the borders!
