Such excitement!

I checked my email yesterday morning, only to find about a dozen game purchases from XBox Live… of course we don’t play games, we just have an XBox to stream Hulu!  Microsoft got hacked, along with our Discover card, so the day started by straightening that mess out.  Off to Little Rock to return Jim’s rental car, a quick spin through Pinwheel Fabrics Quilt shop (I picked up four possible blenders for my upcoming Glacier Star quilt), Flyin’ Fish for lunch, and back home, only to pull into our driveway as six or seven police cars whizzed by!

Apparantly there was an escaped convict on the loose… but he’s been caught today.

I fixed Jim and myself waffles and sausage again for breakfast this morning, then loaded up the iffy baby quilt and got it quilted, now I love it!

Isn’t this a great panto?  It’s pretty dense and took awhile to stitch out, but I just love it!

Although… it kind of bugs me a bit that of course the ABC’s are backwards on the backside.

I darkened the contrast on the backing fabric picture to show the quilting detail better, it’s actually “just barely there” pale yellow and blue batik.  I used a smidge darker than lime green thread for this one, Quilters Dream Poly for the batting.

I’m going to try a new method of binding on this one, with piping, Ricky Tim’s method.  I’ve always meant to try it and never have, so that’s the plan!

sorry about the credit card nightmare - don't you hate it when that happens -
love the baby quilt. I heard about the convict on the loose around 9:30 at night, hadn't had the news on, we are out in the country though away from that area so hadn't heard any alerts about it.

Sorry you were hacked! Wish there was a way to prevent that from happening!

Is it ok if I say I told ya so. I knew it would be fabulous with your quilting. :)
Can't wait to see the binding.

CJ, I love it! The real colors are better than the EQ picture. And the quilting is perfect, even if the letters are backwards on the reverse--gee you do want everything. A child will love it. Congratulations on yet another finished quilt. Sorry about your Discover card.. I got hacked when OESD did & JC Penny called to notify us of unusual charges. Great company. Diane

CJ, Love the baby quilt. I'm looking for a digital panto like that. Any suggestions?

Isn't it funny that the quilts that you are not in love with turn out to be just the best with quilting? I loved it before, and I REALLY love it now. So cute and that toddler is a lucky guy/girl. There is a lesson here for the toddler too. "What does an 'A' look like backwards?" Fun.

love the quilt, toddlers will love it! It will be a great way to learn colors.
I pinned it to my Pinterest page.

This quilt is wonderful, amazing colors. Do you have the binding foot? And is it worth it to buy it or is this DVD a better investment? Thanks so much Cj.
