Mini Lonestar progress
Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11:59AM
I finished piecing the star, and have added two borders, and the third is laid out, ready to be pieced.
I think this has decided to be a wall hanging. I’m just winging it as I go along, but I believe that’s what it is telling me!
I’m not getting anything done while Jim’s gone like planned, I’m back to being sleepless (and here I was doing so well!) and don’t have any energy. Bleh! The grass needs mowing, the house needs cleaning, laundry is piling up…
Coffee? Chocolate croissant? That’ll cure anything!
Anyway, I’d like to get this done before next Thursday, (not this coming one) as I have a quilt group and I’d like to have something to show!

Your LoneStar is very pretty! I like the red in it.
Your Lone Star is turning out very nice. Sometimes, instead of trying to catch up we just need some "me" timeand just "be". The chores will be there later....and if they aren't maybe they didn't need to be done in the first place. LOL
The mini border is terrific and sets off the red in the piece. My DH is gone all week and I am sewing, TVing, reading and of course a little shopping. Just a little........
That is a very beautiful quilt. Your new studio will be beautiful with that color scheme and other items you come up with!
Very clever placement of colors, the red in the border, the mini border, the star. I really like it. What method did you use for the diamonds?
I love this little lonestar quilt! Hmmm. You might just wait until right before Jim gets home before doing all that work. If you do it now, you will just have to do it all again anyway! That's my story and I am stickin to it!
Very pretty. Use this in your kitchen. Sort of matches the sewing machine covers!
