Not even noon...

and it’s already 107 degrees outside.  I expect we’ll see 115 today.  I’m not getting to sew much, as I am outside every hour hosing down the rabbits.

After lunch I will be making a very fast trip to the Mission and back, to drop off the quilt and the raffle tickets.  While I’m there, Christiine and I will decided on a ticket price, and then I will post more pictures and the details on how to purchase tickets, if anyone is interested.

I posted a new recipe over in my cooking section, “Easy Chicken Cassoulet”.  It’s too hot to grill, and too hot to stand over the stove, this is wonderful and easy!

I did finally get all the blocks made for the next quilt I’m working on, the pieced borders made, and I’m trying to get the sashing on the blocks now… between mad dashes outside.  I’d post a picture of my progress, but my sewing rooms are a disaster!  I might let a room get this messy maybe once every ten years?  This is the year!
