Not a bad day's progress!

The baby quilt is all cut out except for the solid borders, and halfway pieced, so I’m pleased!

It’s been sometime since I’ve done anything on point… I confess to being baffled at the start!  I totally forgot I had to begin assembly from the corner.  Probably brain freeze from shoveling too much chocolate ice cream in my face!  It made for a heck of a good lunch though!

Santa Claus (a.k.a. the UPS man) arrived just a bit ago with some new threads I ordered… can you say BRIGHT?  It’s like there’s someone else controlling my mind and body lately… I don’t LIKE bright things, surely I didn’t choose these?

Definitely outside my box.  Could be it’s getting too small due to all the cream and chocolate in my life.  And I’m loving every bit of it!  My next quit might be something in hot pink with black and white polka dots!

Or maybe not… I just got Kim Diehl’s new quilt book and I am head over heels in love with one of the quilts in it.  She is my favorite designer, I love, love love her work!

If we don’t start building my studio soon, we’re at least going to have to build a wall.  Just a wall.  I need some place for thread and fabric!

ah, I just now read this and see my thinking BRIGHT is getting into your being! I'll convert you to at least 50% brights - yet!

Lovely baby quilt in the making.

Oh, I want to come play in your studio. I hope it gets started soon and you don't have to make do with a wall.
I need to do something with the plastic containers that hold my threads, and some have fabrics and such things.
