I'm in love!
Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 4:38PM I really did not expect to like this quilt so much. It’s not in “my” colors… and I am definitely not a batik lover, but I love this quilt! I think it’s the quilt design that made it though, and that wonderful, wild thread!
And the back! This panto design is way too cool looking! In case you missed my earlier post, the design is “Agave” by Patricia Ritter.
Isn’t that awesome?
Some close ups, so you can see the yummy thread.
It’s so jam packed in my “studio” that I can’t really take a picture of the entire quilt unless I stand on my head and twist into a pretzel… speaking of which, it’s a good thing I don’t rent a space in town, because every thirty minutes or so when I need to stretch and a really great tune is playing on my iPod, you can find me dancing around like a mad hatter grinning from ear to ear because I so love my job! But not such a pretty sight!

love the quilt - I liked your border so much when I saw it that I took parts of it and put it in one of mine - I love all those fabric bolts on your shelves! green with envy here.

I absolutely love this quilt! How big is it? Love, love, love it.
Mmmm, love it!! I downloaded the pattern and know it's on my list for soon.
I used to love to dance (and was pretty good at it), but now when I do and catch a glimpse of myself in a window or a mirror... Yikes! Oh well. :-)
Wow! That is way too cool!! I love the thread on there! The panto design is much bigger than it appeared, but looks great on the quilt. I really, really love it!!

the classic patterns are always beautiful---I was JUST thinking about making one similar to this myself!!
great quilt, and it's almost BRIGHT! I'll get you there yet!.
Again, it really is beautiful.
It came out awesome ! You are getting closer to the 'other side' of colors .. LOL
I think it is the crispness of the back ground fabric that makes me love it. I am going to have to make me a quilt with white or off white as a background.
What a picture you paint--dancing around in the studio! lol
Thanks everyone! Sandra the quilt measures 67inches x 91 inches.
Beautiful! Love it.
