One booboo after another!
Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 4:56PM I had to revise my tulip star pattern. When I designed it in EQ, I made the center star thirty eight inches… my star was actually thirty nine inches. Of course I also used the wrong back ground fabric, and my original design didn’t look right swapping the two colors around. Original design on the right, revised (and not so pretty) on the left.
I don’t like this as well, but I like it enough that I’m going to continue. I made yet another mistake though! C an you spot it? I’m not fixing it… I’m hoping it won’t be overly noticable when the quilting is done. I won’t however, be entering it into the fair!
The easy borders are on… time to start the ones that will drive me crazy! I’d hoped to get more done on this today, but I ended up canning green beans from the garden. I have another batch to do tomorrow.

Dynamic color combination! I love star designs. I don't see any mistakes. I have EQ, but I haven't spent much time with the software yet. I love your design. Good luck with those tulips!
