Sweet Menagerie Nine Patch

I saw this quilt over at the Moda Bake Shop, and just loved it!

Of course I love the fabrics they used much more than what I’m using, but mine is utilizing a pack of Bali Pops I wanted to use up.  I have a gorgeous set of pastel fat quarters, one of the 3 Sisters lines by Moda that I am going to make another of these in.

That was actually my plan… but when I saw these on the shelf I thought what a great way to use them up!

I’m going to ignore my house for one more day and try and finish this top too, then I’ll have two ready for the longarm.

I have to run with Jim to the Toyota dealer first this morning and drop the Matrix off for a recall fix, then a quick trip to the grocery store, and all I plan to do otherwise is ziplock the two chickens I smoked yesterday into freezer bags, and freeze the broth… then more sewing time!

My answer to the question "house or sewing?"......the house can wait. Unless House Beautiful is coming to photograph it...unlikely. And with our crazy spring....if it blows away over night, I'll be busy filling out insurance claim forms & it won't need cleaning any more. Is that ATTITUDE??
