Design Wall Monday

Wow I’m quilting again!  It’s been awhile!  The weather turned nasty and cold again here (pray for my tomatoes!) and so I decided to start a new quilt.

Holy Moly!  What was I thinking?

I have fifteen blocks made at the moment.  I’m not sure how I plan to lay them out yet, although rather than one of the traditional log cabin layouts, I rather like the effect shown here, with the wild colors.  I’ve yet to design a border either!

Actually I don’t know anything about this quilt yet at all, just that it wanted to be made, it’s totally not me, and there’s no telling what it will look like in the end.  Head over to Judy’s and see what everyone else is up to!

Love the quilt...how unlike you! Crazy colors and all.
Spring always teases us and then gives us one last blast of cool before deciding to stay.

Hey, that lime green is my 'neutral'. Seems like I want to stick it in all quilts right now and it sure looks good in yours!!!

Gene wanted to plant beans and corn last week and I told him to not get excited about it yet. Mid April will be better, but still iffy here in the mountains. Hope your 'maters' make it.... lol...

Love the quilt. I was wondering if you were working outside. The cold always gets to me more after it has been 80 degrees for a few days and then drops to 40 or 50. I'm such a wimp.
