A little progress!

I spent most of today working on the blue and green comfort quilt, I just have two rows left and the inside will be done!
It’s coming along nicely and while it definitely won’t work for a teen boy, I think it might actually work out nicely for a girl.
The borders won’t take long to do at all. I must say, I am just loving the new Juki TL2010Q I bought for my quilting business! It’s wonderful to piece with, and it takes all my old Bernina 730 bobbins, which I have tons of and wasn’t using because they don’t fit either my 630 or my 830.
I haven’t been sleeping again, and so for dinner tonight we’re having something simple… sandwiches. Two nights ago I made RD’s grilled ribeye steak recipe with onion-bleu cheese sauce, and because my tummy is showing signs of aging along with the rest of me, I couldn’t eat it all. I had enough of the yummy, to die for sauce that I thought I’d grill some chicken breasts tonight, and use the sauce on the sandwiches! I made some Kaiser rolls so that should be tasty!
The snow and ice missed us, we didn’t get anything but rain, which we really need, so that worked out well. Although I was counting on the snow to plant my lettuce and spinach with!

cute quilt - sorry you aren't sleeping well, that can be rough. Posted photos of all the snow my daughter got! enough to last the rest of the winter :) I'm glad it missed us, I had enough of that the first half of my life.

Okay CJ, explain the snow and lettuce and spinach comment. My lettuce was too bitter to eat last year. Someone said I probably waited too late to plant it. So I need HELP! lol
CJ, I'd gladly send you some snow & ice if I could. Connecticut is in the grips of a record winter. We've already had 80.6 inches of snow. And yesterday we had an ice storm. Do you remember seeing the ice palace in the movie Dr. Zhivago? Well this morning that's almost what it looks like. I know that other places frequently see winters like this, but not often here. Planting anything here will have to wait a loooong while. Peace, Diane
You had me at "Kaiser rolls." I think they are hands down the best for burgers and sandwiches. Please tell me how you make them, or where to find a recipe and instructions.
Now you got me hooked on the PW website.
Have fun.
