She's PERFECT!

Go ahead and laugh!  I am SO excited over Jim’s Christmas present that even thought the UPS man obligingly arrived shortly after lunch today so I could sneak the box in, I’m going to give it to him as soon as he comes home tonight!

She is in beautiful, wonderful condition!  It took some time to find this one, but I know Jim will be thrilled with her.

At first, neither of us cared for the two tone “lbow” models, but now we think they are the prettiest.  My 401A swayed us, she’s gorgeous too.  I am off to find a wonderful bow to wrap around the machine!

And Singers were the best then. That is what I learned to sew on but I am not sure the model number of what we had. Amazing how that company has changed though.

Beautiful!!! After reading all your post, I decided to go and check out my mom's sewing machine I put in the garage to get rid of. It is not a singer, but now I have to research and keep it. I am sure my son will be happy when I tell him to bring it back in the house.
Merry Christmas to you and Jim!!!
