It's mostly installed!

Jim had to work yesterday morning, and shortly after lunch we were tied up with a nice couple who came to pick up the remainder of our rabbits.  They’d never raised rabbits before so had lots of questions.  The first question was, “do they bite”?  To which of course I said no, as we’ve never had a rabbit bite us, but that they do claw!

Of course you know where that’s going right?  First thing that happens… yep one of the rabbits bites the nice man.

So finally just before dinner, Jim and I got around to installing the IQ on my longarm.  Then I realized I’d forgotten to take anything out for dinner, so we stopped and ran out for pizzas.   That required a movie and a glass of wine….

So there it sits.  Almost done, but not quite!

And today, we’re headed out to some small town in the middle of nowhere that will take forever to get to and we’ll likely get lost upon getting there… to look at a vintage Airstream.  Jim has it in his head that he wants to restore one and sell the big 5th wheel.

Do you suppose one day soon I’m going to come home and find the flat screen TV replaced with a 1950’s bubble face “Jetsons” style television.. black and white?  Eep!

If by some miracle the IQ gets finished being installed today, I’ll shout with joy!  Meanwhile, I’m going to go find a poodle skirt to wear so I don’t look out of place in my new lifestyle.  /snicker

No more rabbits?
I've always wanted an Airstream! Instead we converted an old school bus into a motor home. Not fancy and certainly not an Airstream but we love it!
Hope the IQ is up and running shortly.

CJ, I have just the TV for you. We got it when I was about 9 years old--almost 60 years ago. It's a 9 inch screen, black & white Helicrafter & if you could get the tubes, I'll bet it would work. There were only 2 stations & they were on for very limited hours. Otherwise you had this circle thing on the screen when they were off-air. I don't have the poodle skirt though--it's long gone. How about a wringer washing machine too.....or does that pre-date the time warp you are entering? LOL! Looking forward to seeing what the IQ can do. I hope to have a longarm machine someday if I can figure out where to put it!

Be sure to post a picture of yourself in the poodle skirt standing in front of the Airstream. The 50s TV goes in the Airstream, not the house.

I have seen some of the cutest Airstreams (on the internet, of course) and think they are adorable.

I think if I am around longer than Larry, I will get one of them. lol

The Airstreams are as cute as cute can be,,,,BUT only if you aren't actually living in it. Practical...no. Not much space or storage. We are living in a 37' fifthwheel as we continue on our three year "Fulltiming" it plan. I have tons of storage in here and I still go crazy trying to keep all my sewing stuff and a stash.
Have a great holiday CJ!

What an amazing room! It must be huge to have all that you have there in the picture. You are my hero you know. You are amazing, simple as that! Have fun with an Airstream. My husband doesn't like to pull things. I would love a small trailer.
