Excitement!
Friday, November 25, 2011 at 6:26AM My gorgeous 221 Featherweight will be arriving sometime today! I am so excited! A signature is required for delivery, so there’s no chance of me being stuck out in public anywhere for Black Friday shopping, whew!
I did score 2 killer deals on Amazon this morning (Black Friday shopping is so much better online, no crowds!) for Christmas presents (sorry, can’t post what they were in case the recipients read this).
Jim first Singer 301 arrives tomorrow, although it will be very late as it’s coming via UPS and they rarely get here before PM or so. He’s really excited too!
I posted my dressing recipe if you’re interested, it is truly delicious if I do say so myself!
We have a pecan tree to plant today, and we need to build another asparagus bed. Doesn’t that sound more fun than hitting the mall?

have fun with your new machine, they work really well and my granddaughter had fun with it too - it is so easy to learn how to sew on them - of course you don't need to learn! you do it so well already.
We do not do the shopping either - can't stand those crowds.

No shopping on this "home front" either!! Looking forward to seeing pics of the "new arrival"! Onward to my GD's bridal gown alteration and one of her bridesmaid's dresses, also. Another unseasonably warm day on tap for us. Maybe a walk later.......snow tomorrow:-(

My shopping today was limited to a trip to the French Seam. LOVE that kind of shopping! Did you get your machine today? I want to see pictures!
