Body-less...

Is that a word?

Happy Thanksgiving!  And do you know what I am doing instead of cooking?  I’m sewing a bear head!

Heck it’s early yet, I’ve got all day to cook.  I just couldn’t resist starting on the bear body, because I need it before I can start on the heirloom dress, which is what I really want to make!

The nose by the way, is just perching there.  Too bad I don’t have any big red lips!

Enjoy your families today, and the feast, and my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the men and women of this country who keep us safe so that we are able to enjoy the freedoms that we do.  I am thankful for many, many things in my life, but nothing so much as the service given by them.  Thank you to the Mom’s and Dad’s who have sacrificed a child for us, thank you to the brothers and sisters who have lost a sibling for us, thank you to the husbands and wives who most especially have sacrificed so much, and prayers for the sons and daughters left behind, who have also given so much for freedom.

God Bless America, and thank you for all that you are.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ditto to someone who has shared a wealth of knowledge and has remained a dear friend through many years. God bless.

I hope you've had a wonderful day with Jim.
I am always thankful that my sons made it home from Afghanistan and Iraq safely and pray for peace.
The bear is cute, is she going to wear the dress?
