The Flirt
Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 4:25PM I’m crazy busy right now and really haven’t time to sew for myself, but I simply couldn’t sleep last night, I got up to let the dogs out at 1:30 in the morning, and when I tried to go back to sleep, I kept seeing ruffles… lots of red ruffles!
So I got up and started making ruffles.
Lots of them.
And finally, I have started on the cover for the Bernina 630!
Of course, I don’t even know if this will fit yet. I should have made a pattern with leftover batting first, but I didn’t. Hopefully I cut it wide enough so there’s surplus to cut down to size… my preferred method of construction versus cutting pieces already sized to fit. This way I get nice straight edges to work with.
Flirty looking isn’t it? There’s a bad, bad girl hiding under there!

I really like that flirty little cover. You may not have been able to sleep but you sure did have a productive night. lol
Very cute!! And what is that fabric???
That is so cute! Love the ruffles
Very, very nice!! I love the little ruffles. What's the fabric?
Totally cute and flirty, CJ!! I want one for my 630! You must post a tutorial (hint, hint)!
Cheers!
That's just as cute as cute can be, CJ. I think my 'new' 180 wants one! And I DO know how to sew ruffles --- I have 5 daughters, you know. <wink> (Or, as Hester used to say, 'Twink!' -- because she couldn't wink, same as me. We 'twink'. Which is to say, we scwunch up half of our face and hope that looks almost sorta kinda like a wink.)
