Fun Quilts!

I just finished these two quilts for a customer.  Both are happy quilts! I especially love this one, I don’t get to see or make a lot of “girly” quilts so I’m always tickled when I get the opportunity to quilt one!

I absolutely love this panto, it’s “Feathered Hearts” by Beany Girl Designs.

The hot pink thread is so fun on the white back!

This next quilt is such a fun concept!  The colored patches all have unsewn edges, which will fray when washed and give the quilt a “scruffy” look.  We discussed the fact that those unstitched edges would get folded this way and that as the hopping foot passed over them since I’d be working from the back and wouldn’t be able to watch, and decided it wasn’t a problem, it went with the general theme of “scruffy”!

My customer chose a fun Christmas design, “O Christmas Tree” by Jodi Beamish.

The green Christmas trees are so cute on that red fabric!

These are fabulous, especially the white one. I do love patchwork, but seeing what can be done just by quilting is always interesting.
