Why he keeps me around...

Not because I’m smart…

Not because I’m special…

Certainly not because I’m young and skinny!

But because I make the best whole bread on the planet!  And I finally made a pictorial!

I drew up another toddler quilt in EQ this morning and I’m stitching it out. I starched and cut enough fabric to do a few blocks, liked it so I’m going to continue.  I’m using the same fabrics that will be in the embroidered monkey quilt.

Nothing fancy, just fun!

The day has rather slipped away from me and I forgot to plan something for dinner, so I think we’ll have either grilled cheese sandwiches tonight, or BLT’s.

I love BLT's on fresh baked bread and fresh tomatoes out of the garden on a piece of toasted whole wheat bread and topped with melted cheese. Sometimes I even spread the bread with homemade hummus first! I'm hungry now...

That quilt is going to be nice.

CJ, That bread reminds me of my grandmother's. We went to visit our grandparents in Nova Scotia. I can almost smell it & the cherry jam she made. She was the one member of my family that quilted & I was honored to make a lap quilt for a gift for her 100th birthday--the look on her face was such a reward. I like the new quilt.. One of these days I'll learn enough about EQ to actually design one. Diane in CT

That Jim is a smart man and he picked you for a good many reasons. :-) You are an amazing woman, and I'll bet he tells you that all the time, and not just when he's eating your yummy bread.

Cute quilt, too! You're having way too much fun. Any word on your 830?
