Mmmm... blueberries!

My neighbors go hiking in Colorado each July for a week.  It just so happens that they have a single HUGE late bearing blueberry bush, and we are always invited to pick our fill while they are gone.

I picked a big bowl full this morning before it got too hot, and made some blueberry muffins, then I put the rest of the berries on a cookie sheet in the freezer.  Once they’re frozen, I’ll vacuum seal them and toss them back into the freezer.

I headed out to mow afterwards, and noticed that we have blackberries nearly the size of a half dollar!  I’ve got to go pick again!

Did you notice my funky green, beat up old muffin pans?  They’re long since past their prime, I have no idea how ancient these are, but they belonged to my grandmother and so I keep them.

CJ...I've looked all over your blog for your tutorial on putting a quilt binding on entirely by machine. Have I overlooked it? Thanks.

Pam, I don't have a tutorial on machine binding. It's something I keep meaning to do, but haven't yet.
