Some exciting news!

I’m pretty thrilled to announce that Jim and I are now authorized APQS Dealers!

I am so impressed with my Millennium longarm and the service and support I’ve recieved from the wonderful folks at APQS.

We live in an area where there is very little in the way of quilt shops or longarm quilters, and I’m pleased to be able to offer folks a chance to come try out an APQS longarm for themselves if they’re considering purchasing one.

In a few weeks, Jim and I are headed up to Iowa to the APQS factory, where we will be taking an extensive maintence class so that we can offer service and support on the APQS machines.

I should probably get an updated picture of us, without sunglasses hmmm?  I dearly hate to be photographed, that may or may not happen!

Meanwhile, I’ve been busy doing a rush job for a new customer. Her quilt was an absolute pleasure to work on, perfect seams, beautifully pressed, and nice flat borders.

She chose the “Spin” pantograph from my collection, and I was very pleased with the way it turned out.

I had a wonderful visit with my kids and grandson! No one went hungry for sure!  I smoked three racks of ribs and some baked beans, made macaroni and cheese and steamed corn… biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Using the RV for guest quarters worked out really well!

Congratulations! This is a very exciting leap forward for you. Remember not too long ago when you so nervous about your brand new longarm??? Now you will share that with all your new longarm customers. :-)

hey that is great news - I know you were excited about it when we talked about it last month. Nice that Jim is doing it also. Does this mean you sell them too or just teach people how to use them and fix them? I'm sure you will enjoy it.

The turned out great!!

Mike found a lens and yes it wasn't cheap!

Congrats. I think you will make a great team. Maybe it is good I am not nearby or I have a feeling I would be itching to come buy one pronto! I'm already thinking I should mail my quilt tops to you. Glad your visit from family was good.

I'm really enjoying your blog. It is inspiring me so much. I'm even planning a veggie garden for next year.

Congratulations to you and Jim on your new venture with APQS -- how exciting!! Now I know where I can see a machine in action. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I just had the space for it.
