Design Floor Monday

Not a lot of progress made on the new quilt, Jim and I spent most of yesterday outside doing yard work. I mowed, swept the grass clippings and used them for mulch around the orchard. I’d no sooner finished than it began pouring, so I am so glad I didn’t wait until today! The kids will be down tomorrow for a visit.
I think I’ve added two more blocks. Obviously, I’m not going to have it finished in time for Thursdays guild meeting!
Don’t forget to head over to Judy’s and see what everyone else is up to this Monday!
I have a chiropractor appointment this morning, then I’m going shopping to see if I can find a table cloth or something for in the RV, some flowers, some “kid” food, and then I guess I should probably do a bit of housework, ugh.
I posted “Linguine with Toasted Walnuts and Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce” over in the Recipe section if
you’re hungry. Enjoy!
The fat is free as always!

Hi CJ - you've added a lot since I last saw a post about it.
Have fun with the kids visiting. Sounds as if the RV is the guest room.
I'm still liking that design and it still reminds me of a sepia print.

Those blocks look great.
Have fun with your family! I just got back from visiting mine and actually enjoyed it. Shock! LOL
I love your star blocks! They look quite intricate. How many are you planning to make/ which size quilt?
I love this fabric combination. I don't think I've seen that star block before. You are going to have a great quilt. I know you'll love having the kids visiting again.
Very nice stars! Is that from Scrap Basket Surprises? I have about 5 quilts bookmarked in that book.
I do like the extra piece you added with the little square. Lets you focus on the individual block patterns.

I love brown and black. A long time ago, I made a quilted jacket out of my leftover brown and black strips. But then I sold it, made another, and that one sold as well. Some day, another jacket will get made.
