EQ7 this summer!

Woohoo, have you heard the news?  Electric Quilt will be releasing version 7 this summer!  Considering how amazing the upgrade from 5 to 6 was, I can’t wait!

I finished putting the binding on my Town Square quilt, and washed and dried it.  I used Quilters Dream Wool batting, which is my personal favorite and mostly what I use in my own quilts.

This was made entirely out of the scraps leftover from the quilts I made for our kids this year.  I only had enough of the burgundy plaid to make the binding, and not enough of it to cut it on the bias, so…

The backing is a flannel sheet from LLBean I had.

Today I’m working on quilting one of the table runners I made a week or two ago, and hope to get both of them done this week.

Looks great! I love using scraps to make things.

EQ 7? I still haven't tried the EQ5 I bought years ago. LOL!!!

Hey, are you ready to take customer quilts in yet?

CJ, do you quilt small things like your baby quilts and table runners, etc on the 830 or do you do them on the Mille? BTW, my girlfriend here just bought a Mille and she's teaching me how to use it. I've done 2 pantos and it was fun. She has the same set up as you w/the bells/whistles. It sure is huge though.

I never even figured out 5 without taking the instruction book every time I wanted to try to use it. I just didn't use it enough to learn it - I'm not good at programs and have to use something on an almost daily basis to learn it well!
Love the quilt it turned out great.

That is good news about EQ7. I am behind times -- just getting EQ6 for Christmas last year. So I guess I'll let you check it out and tell us all how good it is before I upgrade. lol
