Oooh... ahhh!

Coming to my studio soon… an AccuQuilt Studio cutter!  I’m pretty pumped about it, cutting fabric out for quilts has never been fun for me, and I want to make baby quilts for sale, and this will really speed up the process for me.

I looked at both the Studio model and the new Go! model, and for the slight difference in price, it didn’t make much sense to me to go with the smaller one.

There are a lot more dies for the Studio model, and I think it will probably hold up better, as I’ll be using this for business.

On a side note, I’m going to make myself a hypocrite and do something I swore I would never do… I’m going to put my Bernina 630 with embroidery module and the Bernina suitcase system up for sale.  It is in super, super condition and is a total gem of a machine.

Back in September of last year, I did an embroidery comparison between it and the Bernina 830, and I was very pleased to see how well it compared.

Before I start advertising it everywhere, if you think you may be interested, drop me an email.

Those are great! My sewing machine shop just got rid of their book/magazine section to house an Accquilt section. I can't fit another pin in my sewing room but they are fabulous! One of the local quilt shops actually rents one out.

I think you'll love your AccuQuilt Studio. Definitely a great tool for the professional quilter too! Enjoy!

So will selling the 630 leave you with only the 830? Every time I think of even just putting one machine away for a while, I can't make the decision. Each one does something so well that I can't part with it. Maybe the 830 does everything well? :-) The AccuQuilt sounds wonderful! Let us know how it goes. I think I must be getting arthritis because I don't seem to have any hand strength left.

Check out the BERNINA CutWork.. you can then design your own cut shapes and cut up to 10 layers at once using an embroidery System

Yikes! Never thought I'd see the day you sold your 630! But I know that you love the 830 and how many machines can you use at one time? Our priorities do change as life goes on.

You will love the Studio. I have a GO (storage issures) and love it. You can cut out a quilt in no time and the strip cuters are wounderful. I would recomend a tumbler die. It makes great quilts in all kinds of fabric. Also the Take Five would be good. The other die I use is my 5" square. I can make my own charms
I also just have a TOL macine and then a small machine to take to classes and in the RV. I can only sew on one at a time and I don't leave my embroidery machine while it is working. . Can't wait to see MIllie.

Gosh, CJ, I never thought I would hear you say sell the 630. I love-love-love that machine. I have made friends with the 830 but keep the 630 set up for embroidery. I do have a large design to do so when my 830 comes back from it's yearly check, I will have to do it. Good luck with your business-hope it goes great!! I love the pinwheels, may have to try it.
