Pinwheel Party Block Five
Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7:21PM
I’m running behind on everything this week! Late, but here is block 5 for the Pinwheel Party.
It’s kind of lost with the light background against the batting, but the camera was set up on the tripod downstairs with the Millennium and I didn’t feel like lugging it upstairs.
It got warm here today, and I had to mow the grass!
I finally ordered a new camcorder… mine is so old and really doesn’t work much at all for sewing applications, I’m hoping the new one will be able to track a moving subject (like a sewing machine needle, or the longarm) well and I’ll be able to add some videos now and then.

Your pinwheel blocks are turning out so cute! I'm saving the patterns, and hope to get back into my sewing room soon.
Sounds like you have a good plan going there.
Wasn't today just beautiful. I wish spring weather like this (70s) would last 3 or 4 months instead of the 90 degree temps that will be upon us before we know it.
No, not late, CJ. Sounds like you're just enjoying life. Block looks great as always.
Hope you enjoy today.
Very cute blocks! It's about time to mow our lawn here, too. Our cherry trees are in flull bloom...just like my allergies! Polly
Finally spring has come to Georgia!!
CJ, I liked your pinwheel blocks so much that I jumped in last week and did blocks 1-4. Now I'm making free standing lace for my daughter's bridal gown and haven't started block 5 yet. But, they are very easy, I think. I haven't been crazy about so much background since I'm using kona snow, but I think when they are all together, they will look really nice.
Wish I had that 830 for making this lace!!
