Pinwheel Party Block Four

I finished block four of the Pinwheel Party sew along.  I am going to have do a baby quilt with pinwheels, I am having so much fun with these!

Before I forget, I’ve added a “Search” feature to my website, the link is at the top of the page next to the “Contact Me” link.  Thanks Judy, for pointing out that I didn’t have a search feature!

Speaking of Judy, I’ve decided what pattern I’m going to use for that batch of fabrics I pulled out of the closet this morning.

Have you seen her new book, “Weekend Quilts”?  I’m going to use the “Lacey Lou” pattern.  I’ll be swapping the outside purple border with my striped fabric, and the rest of the dark purple with my red fabric, and then filling in with the other fabrics from my little selection.  I think it’s the perfect pattern for these fabrics!

And last, most of you know I use a Mac computer, and have happily run EQ6 and my Bernina embroidery software via Fusion for the past two years.  I’d tried Parallels and didn’t like it as well.  However, with version 5 having been out for a just a bit now, I decided to give the free trial a whirl.  WOW!  It’s now MUCH faster than Fusion, I’m switching!
