Aaaaagghhh!

I’ve pulled this thing apart several times. It really needs one more row, but I don’t want one more row! I added teensy weensy sashing and sashing blocks, and now I want to add borders (which I’m playing with).
I’m also toying around with the idea of scattering some applique flowers across the top… but ya’ll know how lazy I am so that probably isn’t going to happen.
Hubby and I did some digging today or I might have made more progress on this today, it’s the first day I’ve felt a hundred percent since last week, I think I was fighting a bit of a flu bug, ugh.
I think a glass of wine and a good movie are in order for tonight! Probably while I take apart the top row again (and again and again!) as the two middle circle halves just aren’t right… they jump off the quilt and scream “fix me fix me fix me”!

CJ - when I did my first curves in a class Louisa Smith taught - I moved my circles so many times until they were not screaming at me. I finally got them to my satisfaction and the results hang in my red bathroom! I love that technique and have done a couple of other wall hangings with it.
One thing that you are not is LAZY.
It's looking fantastic!
Hi CJ,
We were gone all weekend so I'm just catching up. Wow, I think it's gorgeous!! And a way lot of work! I think we're always our own worst critics and I'm sure there've been times I moved blocks so many times that they must have gone back to their original places!! Hope you're enjoying that wine and the movie. :-)
I really like your current layout; I like how the blues are scattered. It's very eye appealing (LOL -- at least to me)!
As an aside, I like the look of your blog; it's very clean (and that's appealing, too).
Happy Monday! :)
ust a thought - If you added flowers, it wouldn't be as appropriate for a man's office.
It appears you've created something wonderful "out of the box" of your usual colors schemes.
And how is Millie doing? Bet you cannot wait to put this new lovely quilt on her.
It's beautiful, CJ -- and still very masculine. What does your husband think? I'll bet he loves it!
Absolutly beautiful: doesn't need another row.
WOW! This is fantastic. What a piece of art. Keep at it - you will be rewarded with a great finish! Love the colours. You border play looks good too!
