The monkey's have returned!

At long last, I have the Pirate Monkey quilt back on my longarm.  Some of you may remember, Jim asked me to created a quilt with these darling embroidery and appliqué designs and enter it in the local fair.  Well I didn’t get the quilt done, but now I’m hoping to finish it before Christmas and find a home for it with a little boy somewhere in need of a smile and a quilty hug!

I have most of the quilting done now, having spent most of yesterday on it.  I’d already done all the ditch work and the borders earlier this summer.

I’m off to Mama’s Log House quilt shop this morning, hoping I can stay awake at the wheel, I pulled another all nighter last night, ugh.

Just teasing y’all a bit.  Bread I baked for dinner last night, we had Tuscan potato soup and bread.  Yummy!

Cj, the quilting is fabulous! They are such cute designs. I am doing the little monkey ABC's for my grandaughter, using the pattern that came with the designs. It is a really cute quilt pattern. If I finish it--hopefully before her 1st birthday--I may have to send it to you for quilting--you do a great job!!

Of course, the quilt is great. But that BREAD, that looks fabulous. I wish I had smell on this. Yum I wish I could make bread like you do. That soup sounds wonderful too. Kale is so yummy. We went to a restraurant the other night. They served my entree over a bed of kale. I ate all the kale. The waitress said noone ate their kale and was surprised I did. I told her that was a wonder veg and besides very high fiber, it has huge amts. of antioxidents. It's one of the best vegs there are. Love it./

Gee CJ! I am sitting here eating a lunch meat sandwich with chips and dip and you show me your potato soup and homemade bread. Thanks a lot. lol

I guess I could get up and cook but Craig got something on the way home from work and Larry is working. So I'll just look at your food. Glad I can't smell it. lol

Love that embroidery. And the quilting job is fabulous. I think if I had my choice I could embroider all day long.
