Pillow fun

At last… you know how I keep “starting” on making new pillow covers for our living room pillows, and something just keeps getting in the way of having time to do so?
One down! Although technically, this one probably shouldn’t count as it was the experiment and isn’t perfect. I didn’t even bother pressing out my crease lines I used for design placement. They’ll come out in the wash though, so no biggie.
On another forum I read, one of the members made three pillows like this, each with different sayings. I was so taken with them I decided to make some for myself!
I used embroidery designs from the Bernina Classic Swiss Designs collection for my pillow.
These of course were not sewn on the new Juki, but on my Bernina 830 instead. Such a joy to use for projects like this!
Jim’s son Greg and his girlfriend are on their way down for a visit, and will spend the week with us. Jim and I have a bit of scrambling to do before they get here, as it was unexpected!

This is my FAVORITE saying, CJ. I've wanted to make this saying into something FOREVER !! I cannot believe you, yet again, have done soemthing so dear to my heart.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pillow.
It is hard for me to tell from the pic though, is the darker fabric black or brown? I'll definitely be using brown prints.
LOL, I'm pretty sure I have the Bernina design pack too.
Great minds.................
This is soooo cute ! And I didn't see the unpressed parts LOL
I just love your pillow. I looked up the link and love hers also. Thanks again for another great link.
Have a great time with your family. Hope to see you soon.
You pillow is fantastic! I had to go join that forum so I could get the files. :-) Thanks for always being on the leading edge and sharing with the rest of us!
Chris, who is downing cups of tea, and unfortunately, eating cookies with them...
I love the pillows. I did click on the link but it told me I don't have permission to view the pics.... what is that about? Enjoy your family and your meal plans are sounding yummy.
