Ho ho ho!

I think Christmas came early!  Thirty minutes ago my phone rang, it was the local furniture store calling to let me know that they had 2 big boxes of upholstery fabric samples for me!  Yay!  Talk about pure joy!

Right on top was a fabric collection in beautiful reds… I am so making a little zipper bag with those!  Can you believe this?  I cannot wait to go through all that!

I think this officially means my run of bad luck has ended!

that is a great way to get upholstery fabric for small projects. If I did that kind of thing I would have to compete with you :)

Lucky, lucky! I need a connection like that! Love the red, can't wait to see what you make with it all.

Hey CJ, Upholstry fabric is how I got my start - but polished cottons, chintz. It was cotton and someone told me Quilts were made of cotton and I didn't know any better. All my first Quilts are made of it. Until I moved to Little Rock and my friend, Sharon Heidingsfelder told me it was time to start using Quilting fabric, I had no idea. Then I discovered there were Quilt Stores! WAAAAAA HOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Would you consider doing a video on those little zipper bags. I can't picture how it's done in the hoop.? Also, on your last post you posted some stitch patterns. I can't open them in the Mac or PC. Do I need to open these in the software to see them? thanks for your help. Yes, I'm computer illiterate.

How do you get the labels off of the back if they are still on the samples? I have a reasure trove in my garage from our move, and can't get those pesky labels off. Thanks:)

How fun!! We've been on vacation and now back home and settling in. Missed keeping up with you--but loved being with my family more!! LOL :-)

Can't wait to see what you make with the samples.
