Longarm quilting changes
Friday, October 1, 2010 at 10:49AM I’ve been waffling back and forth all year long on whether or not I wanted to offer custom quilting (not a favorite of mine to do) and have finally decided to no longer do so. I love pantographs and other edge to edge designs, and I’d just as soon continue doing what I love most! So if you’ve previously downloaded one of my brochures, you may wish to do so again so that it’s current. Or if you’d prefer I mail one to you, feel free to contact me with your request.
I’ve also labeled the price of all my designs, since they range from $0.15 per square inch to $0.02 per square inch, so you know exactly what your design of choice will cost.
From now until December 1st 2010, I am offering a 50% discount off of threads, simply ask for your “Holiday Thread” discount when requesting a quote.
I got in my mile and a half of rowing this morning, ten minutes with the kettle bell weights (oh BABY am I out of shape, those are quite a work out!) and a mile and a half walk. That was a bit much for my foot and back, so I’m probably going to stick with the mile walk, and try to increase the rowing distance.
Today I am going to load up a practice sandwich on the longarm and play with the new Magna Glide bobbins I bought, to see how they perform. Everyone is raving about them with their magnetic cores! I’ve always scoffed at pre-wound bobbins, but I decided to give these a try.

Does this mean you won't quilt my Nearly Insane #2 ? LOL!!!

I hope the magna glides work as well in your quilting setup as they do for my 12 needle embroidery machine. They run so smoothly and completely that my biggest problem is not having any advance notice when they run out - smooth stitches and then nothing! The cores are recycable too.
CJ, Looking forward to hearing about the magna glides.
glad to hear you have found a pair of shoes wide enough. Too bad you had to go through so many though and a lot of trips back and forth to UPS to do so!!
Good luck on your quilting and the bobbins hope they work for you!
