Love that ruffler foot!

I’ve finally gotten started on remodeling the RV.  When I last did it several years ago, I went with a country cottage theme in Waverly fabrics, red, yellow and cream.  I’m so done with that look!

This time, I will be sticking with classic black, tan, and cream.

There are three small windows in the bedroom, and I’ve begun in there because it will be the quickest and I’ll feel like I’m making headway!

I’m using upholstery weight fabrics, and my Bernina 830 is such a joy to work with on these.  I used the fabulous ruffler foot to gather the top of the beige panels.  The #10D and the Bernina dual feed made sewing the black faux suede a piece of cake!

I will post a picture of the bedroom when all three curtains are finished and hanging.

As you know, I recently used he ruffler foot on my 830 as well......and WOW.....I loved. It makes fast work of the job at hand, let alone being absolutely, perfectly placed, ruffles/pleats.

Great color scheme, CJ - classic beauty.

It is the coolest foot! I'd never tried it with a heavy fabric like home interior cloth, but it breezed right through it.

Oh CJ I am so jealous that you used your ruffler on the 830 I would love to try it on my 830 never got to try it. (it is still in the shop and they are still trying.) I use my ruffler at least once a week on satin or lace don't get much use for it with cotton. I love what you have done so far on your curtins. It truly is a great foot.
